End of the Year: Message from Trakx CEO Lionel Rebibo

As we reach the end of 2025, I want to speak both to those who have been with Trakx for some time and to those discovering us for the first time. This letter is a snapshot of where we stand today, what we have built over the past year, and how we plan to grow in 2026.
In a market that still rewards short-term noise, we chose a different path: tightening our operations, expanding our index product range, strengthening governance for TRKX holders and laying the groundwork for Trakx to operate as modular crypto index infrastructure for fintechs, neobrokers and wealth managers. With these foundations in place, we are now focused on scaling through B2B2C partnerships, deepening our work on running our CTIs on different chains (starting with the Canton Blockchain), and refining the experience on web and mobile for anyone who wants diversified, rules-based exposure to digital assets.
2025: building foundations for the future
In 2025 we made a deliberate choice: rather than compete only for retail users one by one in a crowded market, we focused on what we do best – building robust, rules-based index infrastructure that others can rely on. Trakx is positioning itself as an infrastructure provider for crypto indices, with growth driven by B2B2C partnerships with regulated fintechs and platforms and the IFA segment, while the retail interface remains a visible, accessible gateway to our strategies.
A key pillar of this vision is our work with Canton Blockchain and the development of CTI tokens notably on Canton. Becoming a Featured App, operating our own node and building a dedicated Canton application for CTI tokens is not a technical side project: it is how we make our indices natively composable within institutional-grade, permissioned infrastructure. Throughout the year we have been exploring how the economic activity we generate on Canton can, in a compliant way, be reflected back into the TRKX ecosystem, aligning value creation at the infrastructure layer with value and governance for engaged TRKX holders.
To support this shift, we invested heavily in execution quality and regulation. On the product side, we simplified the platform, completed the development of the mobile app (now awaiting approval on the stores), and expanded our shelf with strategies designed to balance yield and downside protection across market regimes, including indices that use data, sentiment and AI while remaining fully rules-based. On the regulatory side, we continue to work towards MiCA readiness. We are not building something that exists only in bull markets: we are building a platform designed to operate confidently across cycles, jurisdictions and regulatory regimes, even if that means sometimes moving more slowly on the surface while we move very fast underneath.
Looking to 2026
As we head into the new year, our priorities are clear:
- Deepen our role as an infrastructure provider for diversified crypto indices, particularly through B2B2C partnerships.
- Turn strategic discussions into concrete integrations, so that users of other platforms can access Trakx indices without ever leaving their preferred app.
- Continue our work on Canton and on the models that may connect that activity with the TRKX ecosystem, always within a solid regulatory framework.
- Deliver a consistently better experience across web and mobile, and refine our product shelf where it truly adds value, not just variety.
- Embed MiCA into everything we do, so that compliance remains a structural advantage, not a constraint.
- Scale the number of users and platforms relying on our infrastructure and products.
We are building Trakx for a horizon measured in years, not quarters. That requires conviction, discipline and partners – including you – who understand that sustainable innovation in digital assets takes more than a market cycle.
On behalf of the entire Trakx team, I wish you a peaceful end of the year and a strong start to 2026. Thank you for your trust, your questions and your patience. We look forward to building the next phase of this journey together.
Lionel Rebibo
CEO, Trakx
